Joshua Kazemi is a Filipino-Iranian American sitcom disciple originally from Houston, Texas. After graduating from high school in San Francisco, he studied Radio-Television and Film at the University of Texas at Austin. He then started writing for brands like WatchMojo, CBR, Shore Scripts, and Rooster Teeth Animation — where he co-developed an original animated web series called Recorded by Arizal, wrote and directed for shows like Death Battle, and the show that started the whole company, Red vs Blue. Most recently, one of Joshua’s half-hour comedy pilot scripts advanced to the Second Round at Austin Film Festival and was selected in the 2024-2025 Mentorship Matters program.
